Sheila Manahan was born in Dublin in 1924. Her film debut was in the Irish filmed “Another Shore”. She went on to have a career in British films. Her movies included the excellent “Seven Days to Noon” in 1950, “Footsteps in the Fog”, “The Story of Esther Costello” with Joan Crawford and “Only Two Can Play” with Peter Sellers. She was long married to the wonderful Scottish actor Fultan McCoy. Sheila Manahan died in 1988.
Anyone who knows me are aware that I am a bit of a movie buff. Over the past few years I have been collecting signed photographs of my favourite actors. Since I like movies so much there are many actors whose work I like.
Sheila Manahan is listed as playing Mrs. Jenkins in “Only Two Can Play”. I have watched “Only Two Can Play” many times and am convinced that we never see Mrs Jenkins, presumably Ieuan Jenkins’ (Kenneth Griffith) wife. Could you please tell me in which scene she appeared/
